A great and program is going to a career fair as a group. My school hosts a number throughout the year and there is somthing about getting ready together (girls are generally supportive, and in my experience guys joke around about how bad each other looks). When going down to the actual fair it provides a level of support for each other and also builds a fair amount of community in the process.
